Frequently asked
Everything applicants, sponsors, and collaborators usually ask. If something is missing, write to us — we'd rather you ask than guess.
Is Rise14 free?
Yes. A selected seat is fully funded. Participants are expected to honour the year-long commitment in return.
Who can apply?
Two profiles: struggling trainers already in the field, and aspiring trainers/speakers with a strong message and seriousness.
What does under-resourced mean?
Genuine financial need that limits access to paid training, programs, or platforms — declared transparently in the application.
What is the time commitment?
One year, with monthly intensives, weekly clinics, and personal practice between sessions.
What video do I need to submit?
A 3-minute video introducing yourself, your message, and why you want to be part of Rise14.
Can students or employed professionals apply?
Yes, if you can commit to the full 12-month rhythm and demonstrate seriousness.
What does sponsorship cover?
Cohort delivery, faculty, materials, production of demo videos, and the final showcase — all reported annually.
How will impact be measured?
Through application/selection data, monthly outputs, post-program 90-day plans, and alumni progress tracking.
What visibility do partners receive?
Year-long visibility across cohort assets, the final showcase, the impact report, and storytelling rights.
Can sponsors support in-kind?
Yes — venues, hospitality, learning tools, media, and platforms are all welcome contributions.
Can I mentor participants?
Yes. Mentors are matched with cohorts during craft, message, and launch quarters.
Can I provide a venue or media support?
Yes — see the partnership models on the Sponsors page.
Can I offer a speaking platform for graduates?
Yes. Speaking platforms for the cohort and alumni are a high-value contribution.
